Stefano Garzelli is a new UYN and TITICI ambassador

Trerè Innovation is proud to announce a new amazing partnership. Stefano Garzelli, superb winner of the Giro d’Italia 2000, is the latest ambassador to join the brands UYN – Unleash Your Nature and TITICI.

The cycling champion from Varese will don the high-performance shirts, bibs and jackets of the UYN Alpha Biking range on his bike, together with the functional base layer and technical socks designed to meet the need of pro cyclists. Garzelli will also ride with the new TITICI bikes from the Road range, all hand- and custom-made for the former pink jersey winner.

“I really believe in UYN and in TITICI, two of the most poignant examples of the Made in Italy merchandising mark: I want to help to spread word of these brands around the world” said Garzelli while visiting Trerè Innovation’s headquarters.

UYN will also be supporting the “Stefano Garzelli Team”, founded in Valencia (Spain) and run by Garzelli himself. Over 70 young talented cyclists will wear UYN highly technical base layers and socks, as well as receiving UYN branded tracksuits, for downtime, and rucksacks.

A career filled with success

Stefano Garzelli was a key figure in professional cycling for 17 seasons, from 1997 to 2013. The Giro d’Italia 2000 represents the greatest success of his career, but he also gained significant victories in other stage races, such as the Tour de Suisse and the Tirreno-Adriatico, as well as in one-day races, such as the Tre Valli Varesine. After his retirement from professional sport, he has taken on the role of directeur sportive and commentator on RAI channels.

Lonati & Trerè: the historic partnership, based on mutual respect and cooperation, looks to the future with innovative projects

Lonati & Trerè: the historic partnership, based on mutual respect and cooperation, looks to the future with innovative projects

Friendship and mutual respect that go beyond business. The story of this relationship has its roots deep in the past, yet the pair is always looking ahead to new collaborative projects.

The Lonati Group, based in Brescia, is the world leader in the hosiery machinery sector. Its president Ettore Lonati was an extremely welcome guest on Wednesday 12 June at the Asola (Mantua Province) headquarters of Trerè Innovation, itself a global leader in the production and distribution of highly technical socks, underwear, base layers and apparel.

The bond between Lonati and the Redini family spans through generations, nurtured by shared values and goals: both have a passion for innovation and strive constantly towards quality. They continue to revolutionise the textile industry, introducing increasingly technical and high-performance products.

It is with that philosophy – that vision founded around Lonati and Trerè Innovation’s shared history – that the two can look towards a future of momentous joint initiatives.

The meeting between Trerè Innovation CEO Marco Redini and Lonati president Ettore Lonati took place in the Asola show room. The conclusion to the company and production departments tour was a great surprise: Redini paid homage to Lonati with a very special gift, the new TITICI gravel bike, the shining star of the Trerè Innovation brand.

The “Lonati Devel” e-bike was made to measure, by hand, and fully customised using the corporate colours of the Lonati Group. A symbol of the enormous esteem and friendship between these two entrepreneurs.

A new robot-based warehouse to support Trerè’s continued growth

A new robot-based warehouse to support Trerè’s continued growth

Trerè Innovation is growing and looking to the future. The company has introduced an automated system into our logistics hub in Asola (Mantua province). It is designed to allow us to manage the substantial demand for our UYN, Jeep and For.Bicy products in a highly efficient manner.

A 1500m2 unit has been built to house the high-density AutoStore storage system, created by Swiss company Swisslog. The warehouse works on a “goods-to-man” picking system: a fast, automated and intelligent system instructs a series of 7m tall robots to pick and drop the products.

This important investment allows output at the warehouse to reach six million items per year, in support of the company’s huge upward growth trend. The works, which began in February 2019, will be finalised in early 2020. The Trerè group has always been at the forefront of the textile world and with this development, we’re taking further steps into Industry 4.0, combining automation and artificial intelligence to triumph against the challenges of the future.

Plus X Award: UYN nominated “Best Brand of the Year” while Fusyon Cashmere Shiny wins “Best Product”

Plus X Award: UYN nominated “Best Brand of the Year” while Fusyon Cashmere Shiny wins “Best Product”

With enormous pride, Trerè Innovation announces the win of yet another prestigious award. The UYN trademark was nominated for “Best Brand of the Year” in the “Functional Underwear” category at the Plus X Award 2019, while the Fusyon Cashmere Shiny collection of revolutionary winter base layers was chosen “Best Product of the Year”.

Over 700 brands participated in the Plus X Award, making it the largest prize-giver in the technology, sports and lifestyle sectors. The exceedingly high quality and innovation behind the UYN base layers won the favour of an extremely qualified panel made up of journalists, designers and specialists. Their verdict identifies UYN as the number one brand in functional base layers. This recognition has unparalleled value for Trerè Innovation, but it also serves as an important indication for consumers deciding which products to purchase.

The Plus X Award panel also awarded the UYN Fusyon Cashmere Shiny line with four quality marks: “High Quality”, “Design”, “Ergonomics” and “Ease of Use”. As such, Fusyon Cashmere Shiny rose above all its competitors to become the best product of 2019.

The Fusyon Cashmere Shiny shirt, base layer pants and socks are a preview of the UYN Autumn/Winter 2019/2020 releases. The range combines prize wool Cashmere with other exclusive materials to guarantee exceptional thermal properties and a pleasant softness on the skin. The 3D technologies that UYN incorporates into garments ensure perfect body-temperature regulation, no matter what the conditions. The Fusyon Cashmere Shiny range is unique in appearance, too, due to its carefully crafted, delicate gold and silver design.

Trerè conquers hearts in Japan: first UYN shop-in-shop to open in Tokyo in 2020

Trerè conquers hearts in Japan: first UYN shop-in-shop to open in Tokyo in 2020

Trerè Innovation is set to lead the way in Japan, too. On 1st April 2020 – the year Japan hosts the Olympics – UYN, Trerè Innovation’s high-tech apparel brand, will open its first shop-in-shop right in the capital city of Tokyo.

A 60m2 space within luxury sportswear shop Ski Shop Jiro will be dedicated exclusively to UYN. Three shop windows will display our high-performance Italian products: the central Tokyo store already stocks the base layer and sock collections and will add the Alpha and Activyon ranges for running.

Signed in Asola (Mantua, Italy), when we had the honour of welcoming Mr. Jiro Takasou for a visit, the agreement to open the new UYN shop-in-shop was the result of a relationship of enormous respect between Mr Takasou and Trerè Innovation. Next summer (24 July to 9 August 2020), as Tokyo becomes the centre of the sporting universe, the UYN space within Ski Shop Jiro will be a home for athletes and sports aficionados from all over the world. There, they will find kit to meet their every need.

The champions of the German National Ski Team visit Trerè

The champions of the German National Ski Team visit Trerè

For years, Trerè Innovation has been providing these champions with the most advanced and high performing kit. On Thursday 9 May, we had the great pleasure of welcoming the German national alpine ski team athletes for a visit.

Team star, Viktoria Rebensburg (Olympic gold medallist in 2010 and three times World Cup giant slalom champion), her teammates (Marina Wallner, Marlene Schmotz, Veronique Hronek, Jessica Hilzinger and Patrizia Dorsch) and the team coaches and staff saw Trerè up close. That included the UYN brand, creator of the Natyon base layers and socks that support the team’s top-level performances.

After arriving in Asola in the Mantua Province in the morning, the athletes were taken on a tour of the headquarters by UYN brand manager Giuseppe Bovo. They were fascinated by the hyper-technical equipment used to create and perfect our kit for these champions. There was no shortage of questions and photos!

They were fascinated by the hyper-technical equipment used to create and perfect our kit for these champions. There was no shortage of questions and photos!

“It was a really interesting visit, I’m so happy to have had this opportunity,” Viktoria Rebensburg said. “I’m really impressed by Trerè Innovation. Every aspect of production is tightly controlled: from product research right down to the detailed manufacturing process. I’ve never seen such sophisticated machinery.”

The afternoon saw the athletes continue their training plan. They went out for a cycle around the area south of Lake Garda, sporting the new UYN Alpha Biking range jersey and shorts. This gave them the chance to experience the quality of UYN cycling products, having already proven the excellence of our kit at some of the largest winter sporting events.

Trerè Innovation provides kit to the German team and to six other top alpine ski teams. That kit includes UYN Natyon range socks and base layer shirts and tights, hyper-technical and in each team’s colours. We also provide technical sweatshirts for downtime and rest, before and after competitions.

Based in Asola (Mantua Province) and a leading company in highly technical sportswear, Trerè Innovation will have a starring role to play this summer, at two of the largest international trade fairs: OutDoor by ISPO and ISPO Shanghai.

OutDoor by ISPO, which will take place in Munich (Germany) from 30 June to 3 July, is the largest trade show focusing on outdoors activities in Europe. It’s an important occasion for the sector, bringing those working in it together. Trerè Innovation will be there, with the UYN and FOR.BICY apparel brands, and with the high-performance bike brand TITICI

UYN will be showing a preview of the new Spring/Summer 2020 collection, with a particular focus on outdoor sports: base layers for the warmer months, innovative new cycling and running collections and a new range of socks designed for cycling, running and hiking.

All on the same stand, you’ll have the chance to discover the new releases from the latest FOR.BICY collection, dedicated to commuters and urban cyclists: padded boxers, the revolutionary Jacpack backpack with integrated rain-proof jacket, socks and apparel, all cementing the sleek modernity of your daily commute.

TITICI will have a dedicated test space. You’ll be able to see and try out various off-road options: the Flexy MTB and Gravel bikes, and the Energy MTB, a mountain bike with a Polini motor to assist pedalling.

After Munich, from 5th to 7th July, we’ll be heading instead to ISPO Shanghai – the exhibition of choice for the leading companies in the Asian market. Trerè Innovation is ready to impress China, presenting the new UYN brand technologies – the future of sportswear.

Trerè Innovation is proud to be playing a central role at these two international events.

Sustainability: Trerè Innovation’s most important value

Sustainability: Trerè Innovation’s most important value

Trerè Innovation has always operated with one goal in mind: to help make the world a better place. Of course, we aim to achieve this by creating innovative products and by harnessing ours years of experience, while putting cutting-edge technologies at the service of people; but also sustainability is our guiding light at all times. Respecting the environment and social responsibility are matters of the utmost importance.

MISSION 2022: A “TOTAL GREEN” SUPPLY CHAIN

A leading company in the tech-textile apparel sector, based in Asola in Italy’s Mantua Province, the company was among the first in Europe to obtain SteP (Sustainable Textile Production) certification by Oeko-Tex®, guaranteeing sustainability in all their textile processes. The extremely high standards required under the certification mean few companies can boast such qualification. Trerè Innovation jumped the gun and, by 2016, had already secured a level 3 certificate – the maximum score possible. There is an officer at the company working exclusively overseeing and enhancing sustainability.

The next goal goes by the name of Made in Green by Oeko-Tex® and is the highest level of certification. The company has already ring-fenced half a million euros for ensuring that all manufacturing sites and suppliers are compliant with Oeko-Tex requirements: by 2022, the goal of having a “total green” supply chain will have been attained.

AREAS, MAKING THE FUTURE HAPPEN NOW: 100% CLEAN ENERGY

In March 2019, Trerè Innovation announced that it had attained a new goal: the age of fossil fuels is over. Energy used at the company is 100% derived from renewable resources, whether purchased or self-generated. The existing solar installation will be strengthened, allowing AREAS – the new high-tech R&D centre, which is at the final stages of completion – to be run entirely on self-generated power.

THE KEYWORD – “ECO-FRIENDLY”

Everything at Trerè Innovation is eco-friendly. Waste disposal is managed in accordance with the strictest procedures: all textile waste resulting from manufacturing is recycled, as is paper. When it comes to packaging, 74% uses recycled materials, while all product packaging is FSC®-certified, meaning it comes from sustainable managed forests.

Being eco-friendly also means making goods that protect the environment. Trerè Innovation not only prioritises the use of natural fibres but it also uses the most advanced technology for making its high-performance textiles durable, reducing pilling. The threading and fluff balls that form on garments are, in fact, one of the causes polluting our oceans.

Trerè Innovation succeeds once again: UYN Fusyon Cashmere Shiny wins the Plus X Award

Trerè Innovation succeeds once again: UYN Fusyon Cashmere Shiny wins the Plus X Award

Ambition for nothing short of the best has been in Trerè Innovation’s DNA since the beginning. That’s why we are able – and particularly proud – to announce that we have won yet further international recognition for the quality and excellence of our products. The UYN Fusyon Cashmere Shiny range, a Trerè Innovation brand, has won the prestigious Plus X Award. Involving over 700 brands, it is the largest prize for innovation in the world of technology, sport and lifestyle.

Fusyon Cashmere Shiny is a new release that UYN is preparing to release in Autumn/Winter 2019/2020. This innovative range of technical base layers is the first to bring Cashmere – a prize wool, revered for its unmatchable functions – to sportswear, in order to guarantee outstanding performance and comfort. Even the style is revolutionary: the base layer shirt and pants captivate with their gold and silver colours, which give them a precious and highly desirable appearance.

All these features combine with Trerè Innovation’s advanced technology and obsessive research into the best materials. That is what convinced the Plus X Award jury, a panel of independent experts hailing from 25 sectors. The Fusyon Cashmere Shiny was awarded some four stamps of recognition, in the following categories: High Quality, Design, Ergonomics and Ease of Use.

Now in its 15th year, the Plus X Award is an influential source of recognition and one that sets apart the best products on the market, helping consumers to make choices. Once again, Trerè Innovation has been recognised the world over as a mark of quality and innovation.
